AOBT is the original western barefoot massage therapy technique where the therapist holds bars overhead for support while using her feet to apply deep and luxurious strokes to the body.  Movements are combined with directional centrifugal and centripetal compressions to create structural changes in the bodies soft tissues.  This is a deep technique that provides relaxation without the "pokiness" of a deep tissue session. I have been trained under Ruthie Piper Hardee's certification program and have portable bars that can be set up in various locations.

This is a full body massage that is extremely gentle in nature to suit all stages of Fibromyalgia Syndrome. Soft strokes and stretching are applied through a calming touch; relieving pain, fatigue and anxiety.

This is a supine full body massage, appropriate for

Lymphedema, Diabetes and Cancer survivors with less lymph nodes, among other conditions.  The strokes are directed towards pumping lymph through the body in respective directions to decrease congestion.

60 minutes

 

Melt stress away by learning to focus on the act of being and not doing.  Practice a variety of meditative techniques including bodying scanning, breath attention, muscle relaxation, and transcendental thinking- to clear the mind, relax the body and lift the spirit to a balanced state.
